There is still hope for us! Trickstuff plans a cassette with 11-40 tooth. They have to be faster than SRAM with X91 or X71 to sell it.

I would go to Leogang. They have more line-variations there and it is a bit nearer to Munich. At the other side of the Leogang bikepark is Saalbach. They have really nice lines there and a nice long downhill called the "X-Line". You could do all in one day with a bit of pedaling included...
Bergamont had the Split Pivot only in their Prototypes. The production bikes don't use it. I wonder why??
In my opinion the Split Pivot would be perfect in combination with a hammerschmit! No suspension bob with a perfecly placed pivot point and no bad brakeing habits. Sounds ideal, even better...
I will be there.... living in Graz it is a must!!
I'm really courious how they will build and refresh the track. The freeride/downhill track is now worn down a bit - but still fun nontheless. I will ride it on Saturday once again.
I got my Dirtbag finally built. I really like how it looks and how it rides. Now only the snow has to melt away!
I'll put Codes on when they arrive and then it's time to save for a new fork. The Sherman isn't up to the Roco. The shock really feels very plush compared to my 5th on my old AS-X...
Since I am from Austria I have to name a few parks from here:
There is the well known one in Leogang - http://www.bikepark-leogang.com/
Then the one in Wagrain (Built by the Whistler people - I wasn't there but will be next year) - http://www.mountainbikeparkwagrain.com/
One smaller one...
My Yeti AS-X has that slack angle too and I don't like it at climbs. I have a straight seatpost and the saddle railed forward but it doesn't help that much. I would go for something steeper...
My girlfriends 2005 Pike creaks too. First I thought it is the headset, but then I exchanged the fork and all the creaking was gone. Now I will send it in....
The new Fox lineup is here: http://www.singletrackworld.com/article.php?sid=1950&PHPSESSID=689b7620d2227f6fb96d58224d600cd8
I hope I'm the first with this "news".
Enjoy!
I ride 22/36 with an Evil DRS since one year and it shifts as good as the 22/32 combo. Front deraileur is a XT, shifter is a X9 Trigger and the 36er is ramped and from a french company .... I forgott the name of it....
It works!
Some fotos from Schladming for you:
It would have been nice to have a foto from the backflips cedric and a guy from the msc/maxxis tea did in the 4X final. I don't know the name, but he did it at least 4 times and he crashed twice. They were pretty amazing, I don't expected to see a backflip...
