Nice Pics, thanks for posting.
I didn't see any pics from the steeps above the jaw bone, or new trail from the power lines down to the spine trail, you get any shots of riding those trails?
I have been looking for a new freeride bike, much more XC capable than my Northstar rig but still able to raise hell on jumps, drops, gnarly downhills. I have been settling on these two rigs, pretty similar geometry, I think the Iron Horse will be a bit better on the pedaling.
The build...
Any pics of the southern rock trail? That right hand kicker after the smallish rock wallride is going to make for some sick shots! Windrock is looking great these days, that new trail from under the power line that ends up at the spine trail in unreal. That last off-camber right turn with the...
I love mine, it is built very heavy but I weigh 200 lbs. Like was said earlier it is very easy to manual, I have a 24" rear wheel now, and is very flickable. Great bike for the money.

Thanks guys, sounds like I should stay at Morzine instead of Les Gets and ride them both. I will also schedule riding at the very end of my trip.
I plan to rent a dual sport motorcycle for part of the trip as well, was planing to explore the back roads of the Alps rather than focusing...
I am planning a trip to Europe, trying to get some info on Les Gets but most everything is in French - surprise surprise.
When does the snow melt and DH start in Les Gets? I am planning to get there in Mid-June.
Are the rental DH bikes decent there?
Are the lifts open for DH 7 days a week...

I am pretty sure the mountain is closed until things dry out, the winter freeze - thaw is making the trails unrideable right now.
It seems like the internal gearbox as a disruptive technology will kill the derailleur for at least high end DH bikes in the coming 2-5 years.
If this is the case, will all of the different rear suspension designs, FSR, VPP, dw-link, ect. become displaced by the single swingarm?
Am I...
I was thinking about the Stratos LR 1 for a while, off their site:
http://www.stratashock.com/main.html
Developed to enhance your free ride experience, especially if you go up the hill! The LR1 comes in 5" or 6" travel, is the only dual crown "zero bleed" rebound lockout fork on the...

Cool, I live in Nashville Right now and have a few buddies who would like to check out some riding down town. Maybe we can catch a ride next week.

My dog tends to fall asleep in funny positions. This is him after falling asleep with his head between a cooler and the front seat, then the car's vibration making him slowly slide down the space. This was on the way to Vail after riding some fantastic free-ride trails at Telluride; you would...
Looks like my wheel too, except if you zoom out you will see 3 more dings...
They are still round and true though...
My problem with the stock atom labs has been the nipples, I break one every few rides. I have gotten pretty quick at replacing a nipple. I just need to start carrying the...
I agree, go for a medium.
I am 6' and ride a large, if anything its a little on hte big side but overall I am happy, if I were any shorter I would want a medium.
Don't Fall Down...
Sorry, just being a smart a$$, nothing I have ever seen, just make sure the stantions are clean before you tighten everything down, after that, be glad they twisted after a fall and didn't break!
