hahahaha - typical crappy crankbrothers pedals... why anyone runs those piles of horse dung on their bike is a mystery to me, even if they get paid for it... - same thing happened to me going over a gap on my last practice run at a race last year - basically the axle snapped and separated from the platform - when my mallets died they were 2 months old, and when i tried to warrenty them, crankbros seemed to forget about all my issues, i never got the replacement parts after i called any they agreed to send them and i already had new shimano pedals so i didnt raise much of a fuss - ive seen it happen to every single one of my friends who run mallets except for 1 person... we all run shimano dx pedals now and non of us are going back...
It came off in air. Still on shoe which later fell off in the crash. Next two riders were red flagged. Hence their re-run. I believe moments after this was taken and she got going again She was knocked off her bike into a ditch when she was passed by Pugin. Rough weekend for her all round.
