Considering he got sent to U-Mass Memorial in Worcester he's lucky he survived.
thats where the ambulance took me for my fingers then my parents drove me to children's, its as far as hopkinton will take some one. but he got off with three stitches on his nose and he will be at school tomorrow.... crazy lucky
I made 3 trips there during college (broken hand, poison ivy, dislocated shoulder) and each one was painfully slow.

This was no regular case of poison ivy like I've ever seen/had before. Normally I let it take it's course and go away on it's own, but when my arm swelled to 2x it's normal size, turn white and have the skin start to split from the pressure, I decided to tap out and get steroids.
Hard to tell from the pic, but notice the lack of elbow:
