welp, would you look at that?! it's already thursday afternoon. Ride night. Last of skool for my boys. Sunny and hot. Oldest has ski practice. Youngest wants to go out for dinner. I want to ride. It might be possible to do all three, but highly unlikely. Still not sure what is going to happen.... and I have to be at practice in three hours!

Got thrown into the Bay with my pack on after the ride today. Pack was drenched along with my wallet and phone. Phone fired right up. It's fine. Bugs are easing up.

local brewery put out a post that cases of their mocha java porter are on sale for $10 as they try to clear them out for the summer. i though a case would be 4 4-packs. BUT NO, 6 4-packs! Normally 1 4-pack is $11. Score.

Finally got my speed back and road the fastest I have ever recorded and still had fun. The. Graduation dinner with oldest son. I was hungry after that ride.

You know... do your own thing. Become an independent bidness type dude.
I don't need that stress. I've already told you what to do to put together data so that I can run an analysis and give you direction - as a friend of course. You just need to do it and then we go out to dinner to review it. Our analytical tools are public - you just need to make sure that you get everything in correctly and factor all the miscellaneous stuff that advisors know to (see me). At that point, we'll give you an allocation. You just need to re-run the analysis every 6mos for rebalancing and then annually for updates. The estate planning, etc. stuff is part of the dinner conversation.

I just moved the Xterra into the garage...

Well... the Audi is up for an experience, because there ain't room for shit in there. Maybe I should get a cover for rainy days? Wonder that the HOA rules are?

And... windows are now shut. One hell of a boom just let out and Hannah ran to the basement.

Well, that was fun. :disgust:

Garden is likely beat to shit... probably will need to have USAA come out and check the roof. Seems to be mostly rain now. A LOT of rain.

Goddam, @stoney - I hope this shit skips you...
Probably about 3 cells passed over us so far. I don't think it got quite as big as quarters in any of them. But for the 3rd the clouds were at the level of our house as they moved through. I was crossing fingers that there was no electrical as it surrounded us.

Last year we went from super shitty DSL (1-2mbps on a good day) to wicked fast fiber. Plan says 1000mbps but usually around 990-995. And yes @stoney the porn is very fast.
Kids these days will never know the struggle of waiting 5 minutes for a short clip to load only to find out you aren't really feeling it, then having to wait another 5 minutes for the next 20 second clip to load.

It did not, skip us. Tornado. Correction #3: track is .5-1 mile wide from that line. We're 1/4 south of that. East of us gets progressive worse, but the beginning of the "holy shit that's bad" damage starts on our street. The neighborhood is a warzone.

Across the street and neighbor I was checking for since he's out of town.
