In university we toured the Bernic Lake mine. 60 foot long spodumene. Giant tourmaline crystals, lavender lepidolite, huge beryl crystals. The back was over 250 feet above us. Bone dry underground too. Tantalum mine. Beryllium and lithium too. I think spodumene was sold to Corning for Corelle dishes.
