A West Dover local once said to me " Welcome to Vermont where the women are men and the sheep are scared."
I’m from Vermont. We know:
Cheddar
Ice Cream
Maple Syrup
Socialism
Also something about mosquitos and such.

(and fuck Kale, right in its kale-face)

Last week I realized that I have 13-14 year old parmesan Reggiano in my fridge.

Is "sub cheese" a Buffalo, NY thing? It's a white swiss/american blend.

You guys want any whine to go with that cheese? (couldn't resist)

Plastic cheese (Velvetta and the wrapped american cheese is probably the worst).

I feel like American cheese gets a bad rep because it is usually that plastic variety. But, if you know what you're doing. You can get real american cheese, organic, artisanal, free range, all the things, and it's good and not made of plastic. It does actually melt the best on a burger or whatnot. Not that I rely on Hollywood to tell me what to eat, but - reference "the menu" movie here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Menu_(2022_film) It's actually pretty good. Not the cheese, but the movie :D

Here is a picture of the cheese in 2020 when I first opened it. It was purchased in Italy in 2015 after it was aged there for 5 years. I had some last night on pasta and it was delightful.

Ah... makes more sense now. 5y Parm that is 10 years old. :D
You know, this Crazy talk of Cheese brought Avy back in time. Forgive me,I can not remember what show I was watching? I “think it was Bizzare Foods” on the cooking channel? In any case,it was in Italy,in the Country,In a fucking Little Ass Hut. These old Men gathered around this Wheel of Hate, ready to slice it open, the time has come.

It was a Creamy,Chunky,Maggot infested Slice off of the Wheal. Maggots were alive and well, one must eat them,as they are Drunk with Cheese and it will tickle one’s tongue. I swear this is real. Hard Core,I think I would eat it,unless the smell was too much?

I want to get a coil for my Trail Pistol. What do the monkeys suggest? I was thinking a DHX2? Is there a specific tune I need? I would buy used and get it tuned/rebuilt for my 215LB self.
I currently have a DVO Topaz gen1.
Not your cheapest option, but I have run a (BR)Ohlins TTX22 coil on my Gnarvana and now on my Smash V2. It has been fantastic for both applications in its off the shelf form (ie no special tune).
I love my v1 smash in crush with a ttx22m. Riding has been hard for me as of late to justify another bike but I would be hard pressed to get a different coil other than Öhlins.

Found out back in January that a medication I was on has a known and common side effect of weight gain. Figured out I'd put on about 25lbs since I started it (at first I thought it was in part because I ruptured a tendon in my calf in the fall and couldn't do any exercise). I went off the medication and I'm already down 10lbs.
Was it this?

Now I'm craving pie. Strawberry rhubarb please, with home-made vanilla ice cheese, err... ice cream.

Back to cheese. My fav bike, besides the IH Sunday, was the Megatrail. The Sunday got me more race results, but the Mega was ridden way moar. Now I'm on a Trek?! What's wrong with me?!?!? :D
