My mom-in-law just got one and she loves it.If you can get Bosch over there, do so.
only because you beat me to it.are sarcastic replies allowed? if so, i'm really stunned (given how the demographic of this site is likely 99% male) that no one has replied "your wife"
If you can get Bosch over there, do so. Best dishwasher in my experience (and I'm a prof chef if that helps).
I agree on your assesment of the Whirlpool. I've got the "deep tub" model so hitting the spinner isn't an issue with mine but the rack won't hold plates firmly at all and they just seem to flop back and forth. I have to lean the first one against the inside wall. We've had a Maytag in our two previous abodes and have a Whirlpool now. We really liked the Maytags and hate the Whilpool. The lower rack is very poorly designed making fitting anything in it difficult. Our plates and pasta bowls have to be carefully arranged or they will hit the top rack spinner. All of our appliances are Whirlpool (that is all the contractor was offering at a discount) and here is my review.
I was going to say something along those line, but now it wont be so funny.are sarcastic replies allowed? if so, i'm really stunned (given how the demographic of this site is likely 99% male) that no one has replied "your wife"
lol??Whatever model you get, make sure it has a decent rack, good drainage, and can fit under the counter.
Our Kitchen Aid ROCKS!My vote is for a Bosch, We have a Kitchen Aid which were happy with with the exception of the dish rack design.
X2Whatever you do get one with a stainless steel tub. It well radiate heat more efficiently to dry/warm your dishes.
We're going shopping tomorrow to look at them.So Opie have you bought one yet?...D
make sure they come in root beer! We're going shopping tomorrow to look at them.
So far, leading candidates are Bosch and Kitchen Aid.
aren't you still in the manufacturing phase for child #1?Since we're not moving until the kids leave home
I told my wife when we bought our house this year to find a house and neighborhood that she absolutely loved cuz we're not moving.aren't you still in the manufacturing phase for child #1?
talk about mapping out one's future.
Same here...Another vote for Bosch. We've had ours since Spring and we love it. Quiet! And we didn't find that they were that much more expensive.
toby
I personally never use the heat dry on our washer. I simply open the door at the end and 20 minutes later everything's dry.
while ours is 58 decibels, so supposedly pretty quite, it does have a button "4 hour delay". Pretty simple.for all the people who crave quiet dishwashers, what's wrong w/ setting the timer and running them in the middle of the night?
The lower humidity here allows us to not worry so much about drying stuff.way to stick it to the man
so loading wet dishes into yr cabinets isn't a worry, since they will dry in the cabinet? The lower humidity here allows us to not worry so much about drying stuff.
