Societal conflict is, somewhat obviously, the outcome of these ideas. Where is the countervailing inclusive idea of society now for you?
I didn’t see who posted this and was impressed at the vocabulary and lucidity

then I saw it was a furriner

You know - your fingers would be skinnier if you didn't ride an e-bike. :D
Some people indeed get fat enough they have fat fingers and fat foreheads. The latter is funny to look at on head CT—a helmet of fat and skin for their skull.

I have never breached that point, thankfully. My knuckles remain pointy and my forehead firm.

From the talking Points Memo comments on Parscales eventful Sunday:

Like most everyone else here in DC, I thought it was passing strange that Trump announced his re-election bid on the day after he was inaugurated; no president had ever done that. We all knew that Trump’s announcement made it legal for him to collect funds for his re-election campaign, but no prior president had thought it necessary to do it when his current term was only two days old.
But now, it all fits together. Trump had all these truly enormous debts that he had personally guaranteed, while he had businesses that were hemorrhaging cash even then.
How was he going to - as we said in the chicago of my youth - going to meet his nut? He needed a supply of “big cash” that he could launder through his businesses and stash, as necessary off-shore. One source was Putin, who Trump thought would continue to push cash to him during his term, but also afterwards, if Trump would deliver the western alliance and the American political system to him. The other was by collecting big sums from rich people needing government favors; hence the re-election announcement and campaign fundraising.
To make the campaign gambit work, he needed a no-account nobody who would run it for him and be given a cut and would shut up. That was Brad Parscale, who was totally unqualified in every way but one: he would be Trump’s bagman for a small piece of the action.
Now it is all just beginning to unravel. This is the big story. This is the story with legs. This is the story that pushed Parscale to pick up his gun and repair to the master bedroom. And this is the story that will result in Trump trading one type of ill-fitting suit for another.

</tinfoilhat>

I thought this was interesting.
I'd also read speculation that Parscale may have been served a target letter by the feds. That would certainly gel with your tinfoil quite nicely.
feds....... or NYS?
Covfefe boy.

So is this the Republican thought process?
1. Government is inherently broken so let’s just pack our team with evil twats. The more evil the twats are, the more bleeding heart the liberal opposition becomes to show distance and compassion by contrast.
2. People will initially vote against the evil twats and elect liberal socialists to oppose the evil. Except, for the inherently evil who will vote for evil regardless.
3. We blame everything that happens on the liberals, and draw some narrative that the only way to fix the problems they caused is to vote team evil twat.
4. The undecided voters look at the state of things that is just inherently clunky and say - well, if the Dems got me here, I guess voting Republican is how I change things.

You are giving them way too much credit. It’s more like reality is one thing but what Herr Twitler says is what they believe. He says he has done an A+ job despite 200k dead and a crushed economy. And that is the word of their cult leader.

You're overthinking it.

GOP: "Government is the problem. Elect us, and we can prove it!"

Really? To what end though? Are these really just mustache twirling villains tying us damsels to the tracks? Is there some vision we don’t see, or is it really just a headlining performance by Grifty McGriftalot and the Griftones, with two shows on Sundays?

You tax dollars---------------------------->Their pockets

When dick cheney stood on a debate stage and acknowledged he was a millionaire, he said 'and the gov't had nothing to do with it'

That was a flat out lie because literally all his money came from either working in the gov't directly or as a contractor. 100% taxpayer funded.

How they get to there is this image of gov't not needed because people like danO are such rugged individualists.......so they buy it.

It’s like an Adam Sandler joke; so on the nose that I can’t believe anyone laughs at the punchline. But here we are.

No matter how poor we get, it's still a lot of w2s just based on numbers alone.

Abject poverty is too much, because the tax contribution becomes zero. It's the dumb fucks in the suburbs that they're really after. Hello brian. Hellow dan0.

And in the meantime they'll convince you the people too fucking poor to have any money to pay are your enemy, just to divert your eyes from the warm glow that sauron puts out at night. But we'll call it 'zero strikes', 'law and order', or 'antifa' if that helps pick the pockets.

The fact that someone hasn’t sat down with a google-like big data wizard to sort through the IRS numbers and model scenarios for how rate adjustments in various brackets could be used to optimize revenue and minimize the burden on the lower class of earners is proof that the government either wants murky numbers, or already did it and doesn’t want us to know.

Yeah that was in the 80s.

It was a fantasy game called the laffer curve. The mythology is what we're left with.

You already know this but this is the problem we have: the people doing this are more cruel than intelligent. Give the shit bags at google a few more years. They already own this country, and they know it. They're just in the stages of figuring out what to do with it.
