Yeah, I don't think I'd recommend it right now.
Work. Bleh......
Wife wanted to go to Estes Park this coming weekend, pretty sure that's not happening.
Thinking about riding later, but have made no plans as of right now. The mid-thirty degree temps and spittling/freezing rain are keeping us inside for now as well. I'll ping you later though, I think the financée and I would definitely like to get out. Floyd yesterday was... interesting. super high sustained winds with even higher gusts kept this kid to only doing one lap.Now there's daylight, it's low cloud giving us 100 yards visibility. Hopefully it burns off. Thinking Floyd this afternoon if it does, was going to ride there yesterday but stayed local instead. @Nick @Full Trucker ride plans for today?
Um, best to you, dude!Good Morning!!!
Hanging out here in muh robe, shorts and ill-fitting shirt. I think I've just become a writer based on this ensemble.
Went to get a COVID test on Sat. I was having a wonderful conversation on Thur. night with my wife about something or other(I dunno...I wasn't paying attention) when out of the ether, every muscle in my back seized upon the opportunity to
begin their assault on my ability to remain vertical. It was immediate barf-city(terrible TV show, BTW) from the intensity of the pain, and I thought "Well....this must be my punishment for not listening to my wife earlier." 16 miserable hours later, I was finally tested, and of course it will be several days before I hear back. Full chills/sweats, headache and every muscle in my back feeling like there was a Ginsu knife stationed directly into it. Been on a course of Vitamin D, C and Elderberry along with asprin...today is the first day I've been able to eat since it started and I feel like I've been in a car wreck. Woof. If this isn't COVID, the flu has now accepted the challenge.
How y'all?

Are other knobs okay?Gah, stop licking door knobs y’all.
Well. Similar times here. Back in June I got crazy low back pain, that later turned into fever. It was about 2 weeks after I had been out in the world. I got a COVID test after a few days of recovery and it was negative.Good Morning!!!

Hopefully it’s just the flu and not Covid. Feel better homey.Well. Similar times here. Back in June I got crazy low back pain, that later turned into fever. It was about 2 weeks after I had been out in the world. I got a COVID test after a few days of recovery and it was negative.
A few days ago I had some gnarly low back pain developing after downing time on the stationary bike trainer. Yesterday, I got a chill which turned into a fever roller coaster last night. It may be done already, as I’m back at 98.6. Still back pain though. Also, I had been out in the world a week or two ago.
I actually intended to ride Cub creek, ended up riding CT segment 1 backward from the river to the top and back down. Short great ride. Now there's daylight, it's low cloud giving us 100 yards visibility. Hopefully it burns off. Thinking Floyd this afternoon if it does, was going to ride there yesterday but stayed local instead. @Nick @Full Trucker ride plans for today?

What, we're chopped liver?Pics are on Strava for Toshi and canadmos to see.
I tried to rally some folks to do segment 3-2-1 this weekend, had no takers. How's the climb up from the river there? I've heard it's miserable, but those reports generally are coming from people who started in Durango a week and a half prior and haven't slept in 6-8 days.I actually intended to ride Cub creek, ended up riding CT segment 1 backward from the river to the top and back down. I mean, not as miserable as Cub Creek would have been! No, it's not bad at all. The cold temps were a bigger problem.I tried to rally some folks to do segment 3-2-1 this weekend, had no takers.
