A couple of years ago a fire was ~1km from us at it's closest and we had glowing embers dropping in the backyard, keep those gutters clean.
Last summer was nuts here, 20+YO tress just dropping dead from lack of water, the ground was covered in so much leaf litter as the trees were so stressed, unridden trails were pretty slippery on the first few runs.
your in Australia right? My mums from there, I’ve been in Sydney during a big fire. Sydney and San Diego are very similar in weather. But we have way less rain and less trees and brush so are fires arnt quite as bad.
