Received my new to me Race Face 165mm cranks earlier this week. Shop is swapping the spindle out to the appropriate one, and I hope to have it back today. With a bit of luck pedal strikes will become a distant memory now!

Do you have a fancy anodized aftermarket CINCH preload ring with a Ti bolt, yet? :D

Not yet... was that a WolfTooth product? Can't recall. I did order a 16mm hex bit so I can swap them between bikes if needed though. I really like the flexibility (maybe configurability is a better word for it?) of these cranks.

I got the spindle from my shop. They gave it to me for free. I think it was lying around from someone going the other way. There wasn't an adapter with it....

On and in..it's 160g heavier plus 150cc oil but still lighter than my 2013 fox 40...don't really care about a little weight versus performance......but definitely feels smooth..gonna take it to the hill tomorrow and dial it in ..it did need 65 psi to sit decent..tried 85 and it was maybe 10% sag and ramped bad...pull any air tokens out and let it be as linear as possible the avy can do the work...

New fork on the trail bike. The rebound on my Lyrik decided to stop working. I’ve wanted a Z1 for a while, so good excuse to finally buy one. Plus it matches the 58 on my DH bike, which I love. Put the PNW Range bars on this year too. I’m digging the added back sweep so far.

Woah! That looks great!
Thanks!
I have both sizes for the rear wheel and will do some "test" runs with them once I got the suspensions dialed. To mullet or not to mullet, that's the question!

Keep us posted on your steel front triangle by the way.

Not sure it frame protection does anything except look like shit in 4 years.

Do try and keep it flawless it's gorgeous...

I quit trying to protect frames I found I worried too much and didn't take lines I really wanted too...I cracked and dented them anywase...not that I can afford to buy new frames but I found when I quit giving a crap I had more fun riding and mashing.

My bikes aren't garage queens and I believe in the magic powers of a dirty bike, too. :D I need to protect some of the exposed areas as my previous frame is cracked all over the place and I don't witsh to repeat that experience anytime soon.

When's it getting built up?

I agree on wanting to keep its integrity for sure...it is good looking and new is always so kick butt...

After inhaling all of your wisdom posted above I did this.

First ride in, stoke level at 11/10. Always thought the Reign to be quite good at the pedal efficiency game coming off a Pitch in 2017 but the Titan is in another league. Never touched the Lok lever and I did a pretty nasty uphill on purpose.
Will report back when I have a few rides on it.

No carbon, no matchy tire brands, no AXS, no motor.....how are you going to win the Biergarten challenge with THAT????
The TS brakes offset it a bit, but still. :disgust1: ;) :D

By bringing all the Bier to the trails and make them the Biergarten, maybe?

Haha, I guess my medium frame would suit you just right as an urban or park frame. But they have an XL on offer.

Is that an Iron Horse?
Nope, aluminium horse.
