Well it is, but the North Mexican's aren't particularly noted for self discipline even at the best of times.
Mind you, their food misconception rants are fun to watch.

*reaches for the popcorn*
"North Mexicans" - that's pure GOLD, Jerry.

Bangers and mash?

:stupid: Nothing wrong with good bangers and mash.

I wonder what turkey from Turkey tastes like? Chicken? :D
I discovered recently that guinea fowl tastes like turkey... only moar turkier than turkey. So perhaps the most Turkish turkey is guinea fowl?

Don't forget to tag @SkaredShtles for his input on this subject!

 :D
All of what @Westy listed sound delicious to me. Now I'm hungry for scones. Fortunately, I have some fresh ones:

Shit didn't realize it was out maybe it was a bit longer was chatting with a industry buddy and he said there was one in works will be on the team soon ..didn't see any pics till couple months ago.

Either way I think it's a good choice... I'll have buddy make a top cap for it and retrofit the ohlins damper into one...

Ehh…wut?

Ya know I bought 2 corned beef recently(ish) to chuck on my brother's smoker
That might make them more pastrami... maybe if I understand correctly. Or just smoked corned beef cooked on a smoker idk.
But they stunk, I was bummed.

So aside of this thread making me want pastries and baked goods....

The new Boxxer looks to be 38mm , been waiting on it to pop up for over a year now...bout damn time.View attachment 194886
38mm boxxer and shimano saint have been in loop for quite some time now. Maybe one day... I will not hold my breath

After 5 park days this year on my skinny 35mm 100% stock boxxer (rc2 and lowered to 180mm) I haven't much to complain about... maybe bigger and more agressive riders would benefit from a sturdier chassis?

The 38mm zeb is a pretty significant step up from the lyrik, but so is a dual crown lyrik (boxxer). Id rather have a better damper at that point.

From what I have seen the Zeb is stiffer but creaks way more than the lyrik. A big jumping guy had his warrantied every few months 3 times until he got back to the Lyrik. Now he is happy again. This was at the early days of the Zeb so that maybe things have improved now?
Suspension tuners also complain about the amount of friction generated by the chassis and the completely useless buttercups...

I have a 2023 Lyrik Ultimate. Pretty sure the buttercups are useless but my fork does seem to be nice and smooth. I am guessing this is a crap shoot. 2 of the 3 Modern RockShox forks I have had have been smooth while one feels like the bushings are made from Gorilla Tape. The new damper actually has compression damping and you can actually tell the difference when you move the adjusters, amazing!

@Westy
it seems indeed that rockshox doesn't have the same control over the smoothness of their chassis like before which is very sad considering that their bushings are not serviceable.

Wasn't earlier generation Ohlins stuff very overdamped?? They even said as much according to some podcasts they've been involved with. Are those as overdamped as their other early offerings?

I've got a newish RXF36 and a DH38. Both feel fantastic to me--the best blend of supple and supportive I've felt. Although I am 200 pounds so not necessarily the best to detect heavier damping. I do usually end up running lower air pressures than the set up guide recommends, but I have done this with forks from Manitou and MRP as well. Could be my air pump is a few pounds off...

New Ohlins stuff still goes somewhat heavy on the damping, but feels plush when riding.
The Charger 3 is making a run at the "over damped" category, but does not by any means feel plush when riding. :bonk:

I'm a fatass, but the Charger 3 in my Zeb feels okay. I do need to check if there are any tokens in it though.

There does seem to be a very fine line between too little and too much air pressure.

You totally need a digital pump with a Zeb if you don't have one already. It's like 1 or 2 psi increments with that fork

Yeah one would be nice, but they are usually $$ :(

Anyone have one laying around? :)

I think someone said they were on sale somewhere recently, but can't remember where..

Which one is better, Fox or Rockshox?

All the digital pumps use the exact same sensor and display (even the smaller form factor ones like Blackburn and Lezyne).

I find the printing ink is much nicer on the Rockshox one than the Fox one. Aside from that they're identical. You can get the non-branded ones off ebay for fuck all. Worth having with such a sensitive pressure range.

Burnish and add this ...this is my plan and retrofit a ohlins air cart...just to do it..
I am quite tempted to get some burnishing tools but I would like to find a european union based company selling just a few sizes and not the complete kit to privateers. Any advice is welcome

#ManitouWasRight ?
In a way. See, Fox can't really fix the air spring or damper, because then they'd be making a good fork, so they need to do something else to make it seem like they are improving, but keep the fucked up dampers and stuff so they can still have incremental improvements over time...

I'll stick to carbon bars for my safety!!!
I would buy carbon forks if someone would make them. After unboxing the very first thing would be posting a pic of them to ”whats wrong with industry” and ”whats right with the industry” at the same time and maybe tag some carbon specialists from the forum.

I refuse the believe that forged carbon fiber isn’t viable for lowers, especially for one of the companies that would have monthly sales counted in dozens.
