Is that a bicycle? I can't really tell, but it does look to have wheels somewhere in there.

the cranks look really fat in the picture, maybe its because the frame looks like poop. bicycle frames are made out of tubes not sheet metal. but whatever floats ur boat.

Looks bitchin'!

A DHX Air for DH? Not sure if that's a good idea...

I like the DHi - there is nothing out there that looks quite like it. People either love it or hate it, so GT must be doing something right.

I spoke with Bryn at the Open this year and he said it's definitely got a taller BB and a taller feeling overall than the Sunday he used to ride but he said he really liked how it handled.

never really liked the new ones, but this picture made me take a second thought, looks pretty nice if you ask me, looks light to, but still, I'm not a single pivote fan, even though it's an idrive

Looks good to me, very clean, how about a little mud!
ha
i think dust is more likely, there probably wont be any mud here in Australia (where i am anyway) for 4 months :disgust1:
its already like riding in powder in a few spots on my local trail already and its not even summer yet.

Nice! I know lots of people think that bike is ugly as sin, but, personally, I think it's great looking. A bit funky, sure, but it just looks fast. Let us know what you think.

looking for classic NE singletrack
no fair, 40a tires???

not a big fan of the DHX-air on it, but think that's already been mentioned. otherwise looks like a solid build, with some well-informed parts spec (juicy's instead of codes, DHF tires front and rear, etc).

I think it looks allright, it's a DH race bike, it's not like the box frame Turner DHR's are pretty

I don't know about single pivot w/o a floating brake. maybe the idrive makes doesn't allow brake jack.

I'm sure the DHX can be replaced with a Rocco.

I bet it's a sweet ride.

If it is anything like previous GT designs, it will ride well but had better come with a box of spare frames.

I don't get why they make a single pivot frame look so damn complicated. Sure it looks sorta good in a futuristic kind of way right now but in a few years, youll be like; what the hell were they thinking, what the hell was I thinking...

Update on ride?
Rode really well. Found that it flowed more over bumps and kept speed alot better than my Glory. Air shock feels great, im actually surprised how good it felt compared to a coil. Just feels so much faster than a Glory in terms of weight and rolling speed. Can't get enough:busted:
