I dont think fires are permitted on the slope. Will be there.
Has anyone ever camped on site before, fire ok? Looks like all of the hotels are sold out due to JMU graduation according to the website.
good to know, sounds like a planWe will be heading down, we camped on the bottom of the slope last year and it was great. No fires though.

Yes, it will be.Anyone know if it is going to be the same course as last year?
If it's like last year, they'll post up hotel deals at the resort a month or so before the race.what hotel were you looking at?
Pick on someone your own age! Or maybe I should find myself some 48yr olds to beat? Either way, I'm bringing some blow darts, and a deer stand.i'll be there, just to beat your old ass
I'll bet ya a 30 pack of LaBatts, I beat yaPick on someone your own age! Or maybe I should find myself some 48yr olds to beat? Either way, I'm bringing some blow darts, and a deer stand.
I don't like beer. I'm a gay teenage girl. How about a bag of skittles, and a 30 pack of cucumbers?I'll bet ya a 30 pack of LaBatts, I beat ya
that sounds like the best plan.I'm in. Will just splash-and-dash a pool somewhere for a bath and sleep in the SUV if the rooms are booked.
Cat2 (sport) has been able to use one day licenses and at sea otter they're allowed this year so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to for Massanutten but you could always email / contact usacycling for an official answer.does anyone have the official word on the day licenses? i was reading on trianglemtb that even cat 2 had to have the full $60 license?
if that's the case...eff that! USAC blows big monkey balls as it is and i don't race enough "REAL" events to warrant shelling out that kind of $$ for a weekend warrior like myself.
thanks. i'll email them.Cat2 (sport) has been able to use one day licenses and at sea otter they're allowed this year so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to for Massanutten but you could always email / contact usacycling for an official answer.
