Lightweight race build spec, made in USA?

Pslide

Wondering if some of you boffins out there can help me put together a lightweight race spec with products made in the USA? We will obviously have to cut a few corners, but would like to maximize locally made components.

Made in Canada will work in a pinch, since they are our hat after all.

Stem: Point1, Twenty Six, Thomson, Straightline (CN)
Handlebar:
Grips: ODI
Headset: Chris King, Cane Creek
Fork: Dorado
Hubs: Industry 9, Chris King, Hadley
Spokes: Industry 9, Wheelsmith
Rims: Arrow, Enve carbon
Brakes:
Cranks: Profile, RF Atlas (CN)
BB: Profile, Chris King
Seatpost: Thomsom
Seat:
Pedals: Point1, Twenty-Six, Straightline (CN)
Chainguide: e-13, Straightline (CN)
Chainring: Homebrew, Raceface (CN)
Rear Shock: Avalanche, Cane Creek, Elka (CN)

Not going to even put shifters, drivetrain, and tires/tubes on the list.

Are all Easton products made in USA? (Answer: No)

Im over here now
I'm not sure about the Boxxer. Was more hoping it was...

Does RF really make much in Canada? I think I heard some of their high end stuff is still made there, but most is overseas now right?
i dont think the Boxxer is, or any of RS's forks.

i think youre right about RF. their site really only says "designed and tested in Canada"

For rims - Stans NoTubes is out of New York I believe? Are the Hive cranks manufactured in the US? If not, maybe Profile?

I doubt Stans makes their own rims.

It would be interesting to know where Hive/Chub/e-13 stuff is made.

I put e-13 on the list, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was made overseas. (Taken it off now.)

I believe Gamut is made in USA though.

The E13 guides are still made here in the states
. The Hive cranks and Chub wheels are not.

All of our plastics and LG1+/SRS+ bits are USA made. Cranks are Taiwan made...under close oversight from our base of operations in Taichung (the bicycle capitol of the world, more or less).

Cheers and happy holidays all,

Thanks Philip. What about e-13 chainrings?

Almost forgotten about Avalanche...have added that.

I thought Straightline was Canadian? Their guide/pedals/stem would qualify in a pinch.

Is Arrow still in business?

It's slim pickings these days...

Only bar I think made in the USA is the one with that weird bend at the grips. Not sure the name.
Enve makes rims in USA but the handlebar I am not sure of.

Profiles are the only crank made in the USA that I know of.

Arrow is still around.

I think the new E13 ring is made overseas. Not in the USA anymore. RF is made in Canada

Totubes (Stan's) rims are made by Sun Ringle. Whether or not they are made in USA i'm not positive but i think so.

Arrow hasn't made any rims in a while. Unfortunately he's run into some manufacturing problems getting them made, you guessed it, here in the US.

Heck yeah, eh!

Still waiting on my immigration paperwork to clear, but I've been on board working remotely since August and should be settled up there in a couple of weeks. I'm excited because I've heard there are a couple of decent trails in the area.

Thanks for the info guys, I'm updating the original list as we go.

Yeah, heard there are some trails around RF HQ...! You are a lucky dude! Glad they are keeping some manuf. local too.

I'm stoked to hear that Arrow may still be around, their rims have a pretty awesome reputation.

Where are CroMags bars made? I know the company is out of Can.
Stem...Point One, had the Twenty6 and it was never a really stiff feel. I would also like to try the Thompson

Arrow has not made rims for a while now

You're not going to find a riser bar made in the US. That capability just isn't available here. Same with a fork with cast mag lowers.
Just like anything made out of 7005.
