Good listen.
Have read his recent rants in the media and others barely able to contain themselves who come from that era of racing. What, pray tell, makes for a good listen now? Dude never worked with other team members from the onset, grew to lead a clandestine doping program. Only then did he start to be seen working with teammates / program followers. What are we missing??

It's funny. And this was a loooooong time ago. But....back in the day, do you think you could beat Lance Armstrong in a DH race? Not that he did that stuff. But still. I have buddies who were like 'you can't be faster than him'. And I was like, meh. DH? I probably am. My buddies don't do much DH.

:D

I wonder how many Lance worshipers feel stupid now? Probably few, as stupid people never feel bad for being stupid.
The "lance worshipers" are the same people that never care to read in any more than the title. The "well everyone was doing it" and not caring to research/realize/understand the extent and differences that made it so egregious compared to some rider by themselves doping.

he gave a shit ton of money to the UCI for no reason...come on he's a nice guy, with a perfectly reasonable handle on professional optics

The guy is a douche-bag of the highest calibre and excels in doping in a sport riddled with dopers.

I will give him this though. He can ride a bike.

Oh GOD, you are into "The Team" of well lame-ass road bike racing. I stopped watching the Tour when Lemond retired real men don't need to draft to push big gears. I think if you are drafting the whole route they should beat you with bats.

He lived near me awhile by all accounts a great guy would run laps up and down Gibralter 7x plus back to back it is a 5000-foot climb. This hasn't been DH since 2011 my man.......

All top 50-plus guys are using and have been since the mid-80s.

No, I am not but if I sounded that way then, maybe I am. Don't need to say I am on a team or follow every race and every racer in order to justify my biking.

Rando confession of a Lance Groupie - oh GOD are you a Lance Fanboi?>?>

From what I understand, everyone dopes. So let's say you're a little deficient on this thing. Dope it up! Set all the levels to the max!

Not my jam, but I will admit I did read a book Armstrong "wrote". Plane ride to the east coast. I typically just pick up a book in the front of the book store at the airport. There are plenty of others. But not very often you see a book about cycling. Not knowing crap about the tour except for Bob Roll and Greg Lemond. This is how I learned how the Frenchies would watch porn in the buses and smoke cigarettes. You know, for health therapy. It was a quick read. :D
