Going to build a new bike for 2012. I need a fork to go on the front end of my new 2012 Yeti 303WCDH frame I just ordered.
About me:
- I am a large man who enjoys long walks to frozen yogurt stands. Something around 230#, or 16.42 stone for those of you in places that measure like that.
- I don't really "hop over" things or "pick smooth lines." My riding style could be compared to a monster truck with a powerful need for the beer at the bottom of his run.
- I ride all over the US, from down here in beautiful hot Phoenix, up to Whistler, out to the east coast for some rocks and roots.
- I'd rather not have to rip it down and rebuilt it several times in a season.
Cost isn't an issue. Its been a good fiscal year, so I have some cash tucked away. I would like to get 4 years out of this fork.
I just came off of an 888WC from 2007, complete with the nickle stanchions. I loved that fork, but over the 4 years I had ridden it like a hobby horse that owed me money.
Any suggestion with justification is welcome.
