Want to get a drop post for my trance b4 i kill myself, so far i got recommended the reverb at 125mm. Anything bigger, or better?

i thought i wanted a 6" but when they didnt have it in stock, i got the 5". thankfully i did because the 6" would be way too long for my bike. the 5" drop is perfect
I want the 150... I have crazy long legs (for my torso) and my seatpost extension is at least 9in. So why not get one that has the biggest "drop"?
Saw the new upcoming KS 150 at interbike and it also has a "on the tube" mount (not up at the post) with a 90 degree bend so that it will point down. Can also be adjusted so that the cable mount is in front, back or on the side. Cant wait (but I'll have to bc it isn't available yet).

I have more about 6 inches of seatpost outside the frame already-and thats not technically where it should be, on all my DH bikes and DJ bikes i run the seat as low as itl go. I figure ill pedal up normally and than drop it down for when i rip the DH. I dont sit when i dh, so really, i dont even need it. I would think that i could use an 8 inch dropper post?
