Azonic != AnswerNo offence to Azonic but with the likes of twenty6, sunline, e13, and point one, you would have really expected them to step up there game quite a bit. I'm really curious what the weight is on this thing.

+ 1.Does anyone else think that stem looks terrifyingly scary?
i think it looks cool actually, but standing up to heavy loads i dunno. How that could withstand heavy loading I do not know. But hey
Lower FoS than normal for bike bits that's for sure.... but all depends on how good their engineers and manufacturers are. Could be a recipe for disaster or absolutely fine.+ 1.

Heard they have the bars in the works as well. 30" lowriseAnswer = Manitou/Hayes
Im sure there stuff will be sweet I like the stem its a bit different looking. Some low and wide pro tapers would be a nice addition aswell.
First off we ran into Dave at Manitou. He informed me of a fancy new stem that Answer racing (yeah, they are back) is working on. It's SUPER light, and is going to feature the Answer "A" logo on the face plate. Offered in MRD Gold, and Anodized Red it's going to be fly

You should get a bigger bike if you nee a longer stem.If the adjustment goes out to 60 mm, I'd be interested. Not many options in direct mount for tall guys like me...
Yeah, he should get a ten mm longer bike! alot cheaper than a stem! You should get a bigger bike if you nee a longer stem.
Answer is just Manitou isn't it?
I'll happily keep my Po1nt one I think, even though these ones sit a mm lower.
Marshall did a good job with that.new syncros one looks sweet too!
Around 150 g, heaps low.
A 10mm stem difference isn't the same as 10mm more in frame length. A longer stem allows some of us taller riders (or anyone) to get over the front in a more aggressive position and weight the front wheel more effectively in corners. You should get a bigger bike if you nee a longer stem.

Will you're not that much taller than me. Unless you've shot up a ton in the last year and a half. I ride a 50mm stem (sunline) and its fine for me (6'1")A 10mm stem difference isn't the same as 10mm more in frame length. I am all for a 60-65mm integrated stem. Their old one was that long, hopefully this one is too.
I'm at 6'3 so no I haven't gotten much taller but for the past two seasons I have been on a 24"tt bike with a short front-center so the long stem really helps. I actually ran a 70mm Thompson this season and will be on a longer bike this season and am hoping to find a 60mm integrated. Its just personal preference i guess...Will you're not that much taller than me. Unless you've shot up a ton in the last year and a half. I ride a 50mm stem (sunline) and its fine for me (6'1")
Yep, dont know what it is, but the thing looks weak.Does anyone else think that stem looks terrifyingly scary?
