that guy's flickr stream makes me want to sell my camera and give up....amazingpicture by www.sebasromero.com (this guy is a genius, look at his pictures).
Yeah, but who would run the forks a full height, looks f'in ridiculous. Otherwise, mad ride- shame they choose the same colours as the glory.the bike looks sick...look at how effin slack it is
I doubt any normal person would run the fork at full height, it is fully tuneable which is awesome.Yeah, but who would run the forks a full height, looks f'in ridiculous. Otherwise, mad ride- shame they choose the same colours as the glory.
Hii!Hey Cesar are those flipchip style thingys i can see at the front of the bottom link an the rear of the top link?
Sexy sexy bike,it looks like Lappiere has some sexy bike competition
Fabien rides them full height sometimes, but I have to say I just put it like this for the pic, if you look into the action picture the fork is not that high, hehe!Yeah, but who would run the forks a full height, looks f'in ridiculous. Otherwise, mad ride- shame they choose the same colours as the glory.
such a simple yet great ideaHii!
The inserts in there are just for the thread, in case you overtighten them and destroy the thread, just change the chip and done, instead of reparing swing arm with helicoil or whatever. There is no other fuction other than that.
Can't stress this question enough.Cesar - who will be the US/Can distributors (if any)?
Would also like to know Does anywhere have the lowest/highest BB height listed? They seemed to miss it in the Dirt article with all the adjustability numbers. Some concerns/questions though:
-If it runs XTR cranks (assuming 73mm BB) does it have a 135mm rear end? Or 150mm? Chainline?
Sorry for that, but at the moment there is no distributor there, mondraker is still a very small company and now just starting to expand in europe...Any Australian distros hooked up?
No it runs bearings in every axle. Just we tried to hide them as much as possible.I don't see any bearings ?!...
Is it running DU's all over or seald bearings ?
usually the bearing shows , like on the Disco's ,
and on other bikes like the Glory the bearing areas are beefed up.
On this bike it's all so slim it looks like it's running DU's like the new Banshee's.
It is listed in Dirtmag under the M size tunning options, but here you go!Would also like to know Does anywhere have the lowest/highest BB height listed? They seemed to miss it in the Dirt article with all the adjustability numbers.
I'm sorry to tell you but at the moment we are not selling there as there is no dealer in the US, as there is no dealer, in australia, netherlands, belgium, austria, until next year we don't have in the Uk and Germany... So is just a small brand expanding, hopefully we will get some interest for next years,...I see that some questions are better left unanswered.
let me give it a shot:
"I'm sorry but since we are infringing on DW's patent - we cannot sell our bikes in North America."
Forgive my ignorance but what does this translate too in inches from the floor? Any clarification on the BB shell size also?BB +10mm STD cups and min fork height (up to +30mm with max fork height and +2mm with slackest position)
I had a Tomac 204 Lawwil with a floating shock, that was pretty darn old. Shame the shock was utter balls! And about floating shock I designed allready a motorbike in 2002 with that, even if in motorbikes they use floating shocks since looooong time ago.
Derail: I loved those frames when they came out. I was so disappointed to see them depart from that design after a short period of time. I am sure the single pivot was way cheaper to make and the Lawill had some nice machined parts on it.I had a Tomac 204 Lawwil with a floating shock, that was pretty darn old. Shame the shock was utter balls!
True! I started racing on a lawwill with pull shock, what a bike! On braking bumps I've never riden a bike as good as that one.I had a Tomac 204 Lawwil with a floating shock, that was pretty darn old. Shame the shock was utter balls!
If you have a DH wheel handy just measure from the floor to the center of the axle. Add 10mm to that and there you have it.Forgive my ignorance but what does this translate too in inches from the floor?
Figured that was it, i'l pop down to the garage tomorrow. CheersIf you have a DH wheel handy just measure from the floor to the center of the axle. Add 10mm to that and there you have it.
15-16mm should give you around 14'' bb height. At least acording to Corsair guys.Figured that was it, i'l pop down to the garage tomorrow. Cheers
why the hell wouldnt they just put 14" from the ground? If you have a DH wheel handy just measure from the floor to the center of the axle. Add 10mm to that and there you have it.
Because this gives you a more accurate reading for your situation. Rim height, volume/size , etc all can change that "14" bb" figure where you don't know what they measured it with, or what your specific setup will garnish.why the hell wouldnt they just put 14" from the ground?
Might be being retarded here but...isn't the "axles +10mm" a more 'standard' measurement than static BB height as running a set of big bag tyres vs some 2.3s can have a pretty big effect on your static BB height but won't affect how far above the axles your BB sits.why the hell wouldnt they just put 14" from the ground?
I'd like to know the above too. Very nice looking bike BTW.-If it runs XTR cranks (assuming 73mm BB) does it have a 135mm rear end? Or 150mm? Chainline?
150mm back endI'd like to know the above too. Very nice looking bike BTW.
I presume at the weight this thing is at no avenues have been left unexplored to shave weight where possible. Maybe just for a larger choice of lightweight cranks, ala XTR?Got that Acadian.
I was wondering why the 73/150mm combo and not an 83 shell ?
i dont have a problem with my chain line on my RS7.I'm under the impression that most bikes with a 73/150 combo that do not have a dished rear wheel run into some fun little chain line problems.
Can I ask who is bring them into the UK next year?I'm sorry to tell you but at the moment we are not selling there as there is no dealer in the US, as there is no dealer, in australia, netherlands, belgium, austria, until next year we don't have in the Uk and Germany...
