    I'm new to this still. I live in Upstate New York. First the down hill tires. I am assuming that a wire bead tires are better for DH then folding, am I right? I've seen many use wide front and narrow rear tire. Why? Compounds? In general wider vs narrow? Which tires for cross country?

    Why are the pictures in the Classified not loading? I see the thumb nails. But when I click on them they're not loading. I've coming here every day for at lease a year never had a problem with them not loading. So why are they not?

    Question about using a 1 1/8" fork in place where there was a 1" fork.

    I have a GT Outpost bike with RST 381 CL forks which to me are crap. The fork has a threaded 1" steer tube. There seems to look like enough room a 1 1/8" steer tube. So I like to know if I could use a better fork with threadless 1 1/8" steer tube?
