The road between my house and work is a 4-line divided boulevard that goes through four counties and handles tens of thousands of vehicles a day. On my way back from lunch I saw this:
A 200+lb dude (I weight 195lbs, I know what I'm talking about here) riding a FREAKING RAZOR SCOOTER ON THE ROAD. He's just dabbing along like a schoolkid, but on the outside edge of the right lane (no bike lanes or sidewalks in that part of town. . . just muddy fields). The speed limit on that particular stretch is 45mph.
So, really, WTF?
I think he had his lunch in a sack, or a little bag of groceries. The nearest store/restaurant was at least a half-mile away. I think I might be curious what his story is, but then again, probably not.
