"Hydrating" via some Terrapin Brewery Hopsecutioner and SunRay Wheat in the A/C today.

It's like I get when I hear someone taking their family vacation to the Texas coast.Still at the Southerners complaining about the heat.
It's 64* here right now.
Not really complaining, just not riding. When you spend all week out in it because you have to you tend to be a little more reluctant to go play in it when it hits the triples.Still at the Southerners complaining about the heat.

As much as it pains me to say this... that Spring Break was pretty cool. It's like I get when I hear someone taking their family vacation to the Texas coast.

Someone called the Wambulance for this thread.did an EMT Standby at a showgrounds today it was 98* Having BBQ'd steak and Corn on the cob while waiting for it to cool down enough to hit the trails
minus all the "safety checks", 45 minutes.Someone called the Wambulance for this thread.
I did 5 2hr rides this week all in the high 90's.
May I make a suggestion?I rode yesterday. As a matter if fact, I was JRA on a flat trail, hit a little rock, and crashed into the bushes. Wife was trailing behind a little bit, and when she caught up, I was crashed on the side of the trail in the bushes. She was all "WTF there's no rock there."
Meh...I pulled 5 8-9 hour days on the farm where we hauled in over 3 thousand pounds of red potatoes, 1000 pounds each of 3 different kinds of onions, 50 20lb boxes of various tomatoes as well as weed, cultivate, prep seed beds, plant. All this with 0 shade, none, nada and in any weather. This last week was so hot that we lost 8 chickens. The day I posted this was the only weekend day of riding I've missed in of couple months.Someone called the Wambulance for this thread.

Actually, last week was the first time I opened the A/C vent into the studio. The heat doesn't bother me like it used to. Might have something to do with losing 48 llbs. and not being so insulated.Meh...I pulled 5 8-9 hour days on the farm where we hauled in over 3 thousand pounds of red potatoes, 1000 pounds each of 3 different kinds of onions, 50 20lb boxes of various tomatoes as well as weed, cultivate, prep seed beds, plant. What's your A/C set at in the jewelry store?
Quit taunting me.Mmmm, fresh veggies.
People weren't generally 90 pounds over weight.Yeah, I get amused at the local TV stations warning you to stay inside and to run the AC. HTF did we make it all those 1000s of years without AC? Modern society is for pvssyies.
