Guys,

I love my '03 Flak Jacket that I used for the first time last weekend up at BB. Any suggestions on how to wash it so that I can preserve it for as long as possible? Thanks.

id just take a scrub brush and a hose. maybe some soap if needed. thats how i clean my stuff when its caked with mud.if its just like dusty ill just leave it dirty or give it a quick spray it with water

Edit: dont actually have a flak jacket. thats just how i clean my pads.

Wash it, preferably in a front-loading machine with mild soap...but put it inside a mesh laundry bag ('lingere bag') before it goes in the machine. It'll help keep it from getting torn up or stretched or malformed.

Don't put it in the dryer.

i wash mine in a pillowcase in the washing machine.
