so i'm fairly desperate. mine turned up missing. so no DH'ing till i can get something. chumba is out of stock at the moment.

i ordered a 12mm bolt and nut from an online shop to try that, but don't want to trash the frame if i can avoid it.

is anyone sitting on anything? i'd be happy to toss you money and pay for it to be expressed to boulder, co.

please let me know what you might have kicking around.

THANKS!

Hadley makes some axles that always used to work on Chumbas? My old zulu came stock with one. Do you need 135 or 150? I have a brand new one here, but not sure if it will fit (depends on the dropout width).

the f4 uses a 135mmx12 hub, then there is the floating brake adapter, so its like a 145mm hub + the drops, (which are about 12mm on each side - need to measure).

maybe i'll call hadley - thanks for the rec.

i'm also thinking about getting a 12mm outside diameter, 10mm inside diameter pipe, cut it to length and put a 10mmx180mm bolt in there. prolly better than just a 12mm bolt.

The Sun-Ringle axle works. Really any axle with the right length is 12mm and has it's own tighting nut will work.
