I don't know how many of you are even able to get to SD for this. But figured I'd post it up anyways.
We're trying to make a legal Skills/DJ Bike Park here in SD. The next step involves YOU.
The Peninsula Community Planning Board (http://pcpb.net) (PCPB) is a Community Planning Group citizen organization that advises the City of San Diego on land use-based community goals and development proposals. The current Peninsula Community Plan designates Site 22 (the area we are proposing to be developed as a community park) for "multi-family housing".

During our 3/12/12 meeting with city officials (https://sites.google.com/site/freeridefamosa/status/3-12-12-meeting-with-city-officials), Councilman Kevin Faulconer requested we ask the PCPB to support changing the land designation in the community plan from "multi-family housing" to "public park".
The PCPB added us to their April 19 agenda. During this meeting we will present our proposal and request their support in making the change to the community plan.
Please attend the April 19 PCPB meeting! We need your help convincing the PCPB that a community bicycle park/garden will make a positive impact on our community!
