the tank mod is a cheap trials bike, costs about $200 shipped, i have heard very few positive comments about them but if you are just starting it might not be a bad way to go. But you will need a new bike in less than one year if you do like trials.

    :D Hi Folks,

I’m an experienced Mountain Biker wanting to get into Trials riding.I’m looking for a used Mod bike that will work for a 175 lb, 5’ 10” rider.I live in Coloma, CA and would like to be able to see the bike before I buy so I’m hoping someone reasonably close to me has something for sale.Since it is my first bike I’m also hoping to pay as little as possible for something that will survive my mistakes.Obviously a high performance bike would be wasted on me.My research indicates that one of the beginner Monty bikes would be perfect. Thanks, in advance, for your help with this request.

hey guys, okay, i'm in need of a 26" wheeled trials bike, mine just broke, (it was a norco moment, i hit the bottom tube on a rail) but i need one soon and cheap, i have a competition in three weeks, if it needs work (loose stuff, bent rims, little stuff), that's all fine cause i'm a professional mechanic, so throw them my way,
    criteria:
    rigid fork
    preferably v-brakes
    able to have seat.

    thanks guys
