Yo, help out an ignorant monkey!

I've got a Norco 4x that I use as my XC/FR/urban rig. I want to start getting into the small local skatepark around here, and I'm wondering how much of a difference my tires will make.

Can I stay with my Kenda Stick-Es? Or should I go with some slicks? If so, what do you guys recommend? I've got a 26" wheel in front and 24" wheel in the back.

Thanks!

Are you looking for tires specific to park or something that will be a jack of all trades?

I think the side knobs on your stock tires would be bad in a park because of the contact angles the tire makes with the ramps.

Park specific i'd go dual hookworms(that would be the trendy choice at least).

Kenda K-rads would be good in the park and could be managble off road if it isn't muddy.

If you got really into park you could run like a K-rad on the back and get a 24" wheel for the front with a park/urban tire and keep your 26" the off-road wheel/tire for easy swaps.

Of course goofin off with your knobbies to find out for yourself wouldn't hurt either.
