I tried doing a search, but didnt find the thread from a couple days ago about tire choice in schwietzer, and Snowmass. also what tires will work the best for durango and telluride. thanks

Telluride.....very very dusty, but not incredibly loose.
Durango.....depends on if it rains or not. Dusty and loose. A little rain makes it tacky. Lots of rain make the bottom of the course super slick. Especially in the Alpines and the off camber turns in the grass.

Maybe its because of how much slower I was when I did Telluride 2 years ago, but it seemed to be super loose, dry and rocky (hidden). Not like Sandpoint but still....2.7 2.5 or 2.8 2.7 combo.
I remember only having trouble with 2 sections of the Telluride course. There was an off camber right turn just before heading into the wood section with the back-to-back-to-back-to-back log jumps that I couln't make for sh**. Then there was the approach to the platform jump that was sandy and super rutted. That seemed to give me problems all week.
