Morning.

I'm so done with this winter. The idiot town plow drivers come down our street maybe once ever few weeks. So yesterday when the snow was melting a bit they finally came down the street and created an over a foot high wall of snow at the end of my driveway. Then the temps had dropped by the time I got home from work and it was almost completely frozen again. So now I have a huge frozen speed bump at the end of my driveway. I spend almost 30min this morning trying to get my van out.

Also... it seems that all stores around here are out of rock salt and probably won't be restocking since it's near the end of the season. FML.

Howdy all. New faculty orientation session today, all day. At least I have wifi! (learning about how to get promoted is good, too, but not captivating enough to keep me from browsing.)

allergies are killing me. hacked up a lung this morning & now I have a weird headache....riding up in the elevator to my office I started to do simple multiplication to make sure I am not having an aneurysm & I fkn cant remember how to do simple math, freak out a bit in my head, then realize I suck at multiplication any day. crisis resolved. I am just a spazz & my brain isn't bleeding.

So I came back from Brisbane all jazzed about my jorb and my boss tells me I'll get to do all the crap I've been wanting to do. Now the lead on the project wants me to do the same mundane sh!t I've been bitching about. WTF...

Burned through all the food in my freezer. I may have to grow a bigger garden next year. Learn how to properly freeze fish so they don't get all freezer burned. Canning grape tomatoes is a complete waste of time. I have to start getting my supplies out of storage. I am growing Plum mators instead of so many grapes, no squash or gourds, and no hot peppers.

Get a vacuum sealer if you freeze a lot of stuff.

Snowing like mad. Tried to go out to get beer, had to get it from the gas station as the highway was closed due to an accident. FedEx truck put itself into a ditch in front of my house. Luckily for him every redneck in the county is driving around in their trucks chomping at the bit to pull someone out of a ditch.

Not hot enough for long enough for hot peppers to grow them here. 2-3 squash plants have a huge footprint and only I eat them. I only grew gourds for the Lady friend. She ain't around anymore.....

You could try squash on trellis! Just make sure its strong enough to support the weight. I may try my own just for fun. Hot peppers are delicious! They grow well here. We eat alot of squash and I eat alot of hot peppers.

You can grow a habanero plant in the window. I've had a few live a couple years. In fact they're really hard to kill, even with my black thumb.

Never had them this bad. All the pine pollen, yellow shit blooming everywhere, the purple stuff in my neighbors yard, the dust, working in a fkn office in an old-ass casino with terrible HVAC....etc...

I now have an ENT doc & have had CT scans of my dome. Evidently this happens to a lot of folks who re-locate from the East to the SW.
