I'd recommend the NoTubes ZTR Flow wheels. I changed out my front tire last night on these wheels and was able to bead up my front tire with a floor pump. The setup is super easy and I have been very surprised at how much of a beating these wheels can take. On top of all that, the rear hub engagement seems to be very good.
I've run many rims tubeless (including Mavic 729) with either NoTubes rim tape or just duct tape over the spoke holes. My current favorite is the Syncros DS32. Nice balance of width, weight, and strength. Just be aware that the supplied ERD is wrong. Get spokes 2mm shorter than a calculator will tell you when using Syncros' ERD.
I use Flows for DH race runs and on my freeride bike but I don't think they're wide or strong enough for everyday DHing.
I run 823's on my DH'r and Flow's on my Enduro.
Both are great rims, like mentioned earlier one is stronger one is lighter.
I wish there was something more in between, like a Stan's Flow DH rim... make it already guys!

X2 (DS32) I finally destroyed the weld and the rear wheel but it took a SOLID TON of abuse flat landing and rocks till finally landed on a pointed rock from a drop and , well it ceased being round...Hell it ceased being connected lol...
Had amazing luck with htose as well as they have a lighter weight good profile and ridgid.....
823s, syncros ds32, 729s are top tier strength wise and can be hammered on extremely hard.....
6.1 (fr600), 5.1, 721s, are good but take into account your line choice they crack and dent but come in light and a good profile.
