I thought 300 was really lame.

Mad Max goes to Persia with Mr. T.

so shoot me.
It was more of a guy's movie. My first reaction to your post was, "I'm sorry, you have to turn in your manhood now" and then I noticed who was posting :D

It was a little cheesy and a couple of the battle scenes were a bit drawn out, but overall I thought it was a lot of fun.

wait.......you were looking for historical accuracy, even after battles of 300 men beating tens of thousands, 8' tall men, 12' monsters, and lobster like freaks?

hmmmm...............riiiiiiight.

no like, they all died in the end. your watching and get all pumped watching them fight the 8' tall guys and monsters and elephants etc, and then the 300 just die rather abruptly. besides, who says there werent actually people with blades as arms back then

I thought it was just OK. Way too over-dramatic. The drama should come from the plot not mood music and lighting. Seeing as though it was based on one of the greatest stories ever it just wasn't needed.

Yeah I felt a little, uh, abdominally inadequate after watching it.
My wife pointed out the "300 abs workout" in my Men's Health magazine. It's an ass kicker.

We watched a show on the History Channel a few days before we saw it in the theater. Because there is a lot of the novel that is pulled from history (Like the quote "Then we shall fight in the shade"), I think she enjoyed more. I dig the fight scenes.

oh yeah, I forgot to add that I thought they ripped of the monsters from LOTR.

Good stuff. ;)

300 ... yea, even with all those computer generated 6 pack abs I could not keep my wife in the seat to watch more than 30 mins of it. And she usually likes action stuff.

I saw it all the way thru tho.
Sure it was shallow and not much plot. Perfect for us guys!
Awesome fake action scenes ... and I found it all historically correct.
From what I remember from high school history class that is. ;)

What is wrong with you guys. Of course the women left after about 30 min that is when one of the weirdest most bestest scenes of all happened.

It is on TV now...I think it gets to be more comical the more times I see it.

I wonder if everyone received one of these upon signing their contracts?
