I thought 300 was really lame.
Mad Max goes to Persia with Mr. T.

It was more of a guy's movie. My first reaction to your post was, "I'm sorry, you have to turn in your manhood now" and then I noticed who was postingI thought 300 was really lame.

My girlfriend watches it...calls it "girl porn"...It was more of a guy's movie. My first reaction to your post was, "I'm sorry, you have to turn in your manhood now" and then I noticed who was posting
It was a little cheesy and a couple of the battle scenes were a bit drawn out, but overall I thought it was a lot of fun.
wait.......you were looking for historical accuracy, even after battles of 300 men beating tens of thousands, 8' tall men, 12' monsters, and lobster like freaks?i was a little disappointed with the historically accurate ending, but w/e. sick movie none the same, i decided to start working out more after seeing it, that lasted for 4 hours.
who says there werent actually people with blades as arms back then

hmmmm...............riiiiiiight.
Casualties
300 Spartans
700 Thespians (Out of the initial 7,000-strong Greek army, all but 2,000 were dismissed on the third day)
1,400 other Greek allies
25,000 Persians
I thought it was just OK. Way too over-dramatic. The drama should come from the plot not mood music and lighting. Seeing as though it was based on one of the greatest stories ever it just wasn't needed. It was more of a guy's movie. My wife pointed out the "300 abs workout" in my Men's Health magazine. It's an ass kicker.Yeah I felt a little, uh, abdominally inadequate after watching it.
no like, they all died in the end. your watching and get all pumped watching them fight the 8' tall guys and monsters and elephants etc, and then the 300 just die rather abruptly. besides, who says there werent actually people with blades as arms back then
touche. I felt the need for sit ups... and a lot of themYeah I felt a little, uh, abdominally inadequate after watching it.
