Anyone catch Hangtown this past weekend on FuelTV and NBCSports? Twas some great racing in both motos and classes!
How is that bigger news (or any news at all) than JS7 going 1/1 after changing teams mid season? Give me a break.Ashley was turning 2:13's fastest lap for Bubba was 2:03 she was pinned. I will load images later this week. BTW in bigger news Clay Porter was out there shooting with his RED camera!!!
It's not but interesting non the less. He didn't win it easily either. Dungy was down his throat until they caught lappers. Was a good race until then. James made it clean through. Guess Yamaha's suck eh?How is that bigger news (or any news at all) than JS7 going 1/1 after changing teams mid season? Give me a break.
Didn't win it easily? umustbhigh. Dungey wasn't pressuring him whatsoever. Following? Yes. Pushing the pace, and applying pressure? No.It's not but interesting non the less. Agreed, he's been a gentleman regarding JGR, even thanking them during the podium speech. Even if there was some hard feelings between them, he seems to be taking the high road. I hope this is the reboot many of his fans (me) have been waiting for.James looked better that race than he pretty much ever has in recent years. His bike looked dialed. He used very little body work, being more efficient, and he paced himself. A coming of a mature JS7, forsure.
Man was Alessi running a road block in that second moto. Maybe we can get a close up of that serious Navy Seal face since Clay was there.RD5 trailing MA800 in Moto2 is another prime example. JS7 made short work of them both after he trailed them for a few laps.
Yeah I know I was there shooting the race. Up until James passed the lappers after checkered flag onto fading L Hander which is about 40 feet wide, they were within 1-2 seconds of each other and Dungey went through traffic to get to James. Here is the "ass kicking" you think happened, would he have beat Villapoto or Reed? He road well and won both motos which is cool the 250 race was better to watch.Didn't win it easily? umustbhigh. Stewart wasn't even going 85% the entire time. His best lap time was a 2:04, and he was just cruising clicking off 2:06-2:07's the entire time, because he wasn't getting pushed to go any faster than what he needed to.

Lappers is a poor excuse. James had to go through the same lappers as Dungey, he just went through them better. JS7 wastes no time to make a move (whether it be for a lapper, or person of higher position), while RD5 is more patient, and waits a longer period of time to make a move. His patience is what cost him valuable time to JS7. RD5 trailing MA800 in Moto2 is another prime example. JS7 made short work of them both after he trailed them for a few laps.
Please, save your prognostication for your tarot card readings.Yeah I know I was there shooting the race. He was actually there brother. What you see in person is easy to tell if someone's pushing the limit or riding a clean race. In outdoor, it's very easy to see with the naked eye what's really going on. I'd rather watch Supercross on TV and motocross in person. Please, save your prognostication for your tarot card readings.
Ianjenn,
You do know O'show had bubba militantly programmed to ride smooth and calm? DO NOT push it, have fun, 60 to 80 percent was the idea? The mission is to slowly rebuild the mind and body. James can be rehabilitated, this is only the beginning of a guy who everyone said was 'washed up'.
Its no secret that when James tested the suzuki, EVERYONE around him said he looked at home on the bike, not just power wise and all that tech crap, but the way he was positioned on the bike, natural fit...but Suz couldn't pay anywhere near what JGR could, and Suz couldn't promise a future in neckcar. He should have been on the yellow bike in the first place, he paid a price being on the blue bike, possibly too much head trauma?Yeah true either way good to see him riding well again. And was it the bike? My buddy I road up there with from Showa was saying James really didn't like how Yamaha's handle guess it could be true.
Stewart was on a team that was a Supercross only team. What did you expect him to load up in a Sprinter and go racing. As for the whole "If only Reed and RV were racing" argument... get over it. It sucks that they are hurt but they both made mistakes and they got hurt.Stewart lost alot of it by not racing outdoors and acting like a douche on that stupid tv show.
Wasn't about the pay according to James. Suzuki wouldn't offer him a long-term deal. They wanted a 1-yr, he wanted a multi-year deal. Job security was his motive, and not having to worry about renegotiating a deal, or searching for a new one 3/4 of the way through one season. Its no secret that when James tested the suzuki, EVERYONE around him said he looked at home on the bike, not just power wise and all that tech crap, but the way he was positioned on the bike, natural fit...but Suz couldn't pay anywhere near what JGR could, and Suz couldn't promise a future in neckcar. delusional. But,you gotta face it,I had to,that Villipoto has caught Bubbas old speed and then added some. It's just a sad fact that Ricky and Bubba brought it to another level, but they have been caught.
you are definitely crazy if that's what you think.I bet if Villipoto and Reed were well,he'd be nowhere to be found.
He is actually crazy. But if you take one word that SCARY says seriously, you've lost on RM.you are definitely crazy if that's what you think.
That hurts my feelings,Butch. Not my Internet feelings,my real ones.He is actually crazy. But if you take one word that SCARY says seriously, you've lost on RM.
I did not realise this was the case . At the end of the day it's just my opinion. But what does that really count for?He is actually crazy. But if you take one word that SCARY says seriously, you've lost on RM.
yo, watch moto 1 on http://www.allisports.com/alli/motoYa, can't wait for the moto 2's to be played at midnight, sweet time. Also so stoked on the fact that I pay like $120/month in cable and still can't watch moto 1. Great job AMA.
Hell, I can't even find a torrent of moto 1, and I am a torrent GOD.
