holy friggen sweet! That's some sick muddy slidy action

I'm going to start off the armchair quarterbacking by saying this (I'm probably interpreting it wrong though): in Beaumont's section, it looks like the rear suspension totally locks out when he's on the brakes.... It could just be that the terrain was really smooth there, or that his weight wasn't on the pedals, but it seems like a good illustration of brake jack (or is that squat?)...

I didn't realize Gee had gone to flats for that race. I wonder if Minnaar did too.

Yeha what the hell is with the extreme slow mo....
...The entire way through that video? :(
I'm not much of a cameraman, DirtTV and MTBcut do the full speed stuff way better - you would have felt sick looking anything in normal speed with my un-steadyhand®.

pascal's lever position at the 3:20 mark?
Pascal doubling that section  It was so steep, and tres, tres slippery.

Spagnolo, feet up, clipped in, smooth.

from the photos i've got, he kept on the flats for the race too. Pretty sure he talked about it in a post-race interview on Dirt or Vital
Well, he's a heretic then. He must be burned at the stake for choosing the most appropriate tool for the job.
