Bike and pedestrian infrastructure and how it’s interwoven with motor vehicles and public transit is next level in Barcelona. Makes north america look primitive by comparison.

I appreciated this bike+pedestrian crossing signal tonight.

Expected a big day at work that didn't happen, went for the first night ride in months and felt oddly good. Saw a possum, native bush rat and a bandicoot and not a single mountain biker, it was tops.

From my ride with @iRider yesterday

Humid yesterday. This is under the bridge to the island where Irider lives and where I am born. This also took us to a new part of the trail where the city has allowed trails to stop gay dudes having fun in the woods. Irider had warned me and we actually did see one dude who was looking for love. He looked a little confused by us riding around :D

Tight trails. With a narrow ridges and techy uphils. Good gap jump and drops. More technical in places than what I had expected. My weak upper body felt it at the end but super fun day on the bike and so cool Irider had time to show me around.

Perhaps a stupid question, but why do you ride with a rear light in the woods....jungle...death bush, whatever you call it down there?

Look at the disappointment of the folks behind you at the lack of a hip bag and full face helmet.
...but more casual in all ways compared to that dude in woo's pic with his inside foot down and a look of determination one would have tossing rings on bottles at the fair

Rode a sea side trail. Flat but fun. Slid out in corner in some loose gravel. Plenty of time to decide how to crash but could not avoid a branch to face. Not good when all you have is your good looks :D

Day at Bromont. Slim pickings on trails, as some are closed for a race.

They've done some work on a few trails, but it's either rain or there is a spring feeding water wherever they've dug, as their fresh work has turned into deep peanut butter slop.

Had a moment crossing over a rut on a steep section of trail. Sideknobs grabbed and tried to rip the tire off. Mad a lovely fart noise.

Have been enjoying the cycling around town in Barcelona. Many of the bike paths are in the shade. Makes for an enjoyable time.

Trails and weather are on point in YT! Nice double black off the top of the mountain and after a couple turns I even remembered to put my helmet back on.

Top of the chairlift at Grand Targhee and yes me and Partsy did ride from the car park though it was almost the finish of me. Might pick a more suitable bike next time than my old 2007 36lb Reign but I went with what I had. Or. you know, put our bikes on the chairlift but neither of us are that clever. Great place.
