After 1 year riding Sunday, I have decided to buy the izimu DH. I have some question.

I am 70 Kg rider and using 300 lbs spring on my Sunday. I would like to know did the 300 lbs will be enough for using at the Izimu DH? Or I have to use 350 lbs spring on it? I have double check @ the tftunes spring weight calculater. It has show the 300 lbs spring can match up my weight on it.

By the way, I using the Roco WC on my Sunday and I love this performance. I would like to use it at the izimu. How's shock performance compare the DHX coil & Roco on it?

Thank for all of your advice!

I use a 300 lb spring on a Double Barrel on a Izimu and it works well. I have never ridden a Roco so I can not offer a direct comparison. For reference I weight 190 lbs.

profro, how much sag does your setup have? my izimu uses 30% shock stroke when sagged and i use a 400 x 3,25 spring on a DHX5, being only about 165lbs. I feel it would be nice to have a 350 spring to make it eat the rocks with more taste, but a 35% sag probably isn't the right choice on a linear SP bike.

He's running a Double Barrel shock not a DHX5.
