Do you guys tend to leave the rack on your car, or do you undo and re-attach the thing with the anti-wobble bolt every time you want to ride?

I'm thinking I'll get a lock washer for the anti-wobble bolt and keep a cheap rachet and extension in the trunk to make it fairly quick-on/quick-off...it's a lot of rack to haul around for no reason on my daily commute.

ive been taking mine off but i have a feeling next year when I am up at school it will stay on, wont have a place to store it

Sorta depends on the vehicle I guess. I don't need any hitch extensions or anything.

Mine has also saved my Jeep from damage during my wife's lane-changing episode...

I live in an apt so I leave mine on. It has been on now for 2+yrs and going strong, even though it is a little rusty.

i take it off, it takes about 2 mins. really not a big deal if you have the ratchet close by.

i assume the atni wobble bolt is the big fat one that attatches to the hitch mount?
