Anyone in the Burke/Springfield area ride South run trails? I just got back into riding and i ride these trails 2 to 3 times a week.

i have ridden there from burke lake. i mainly ride at wakefield or accatink(sp?). i also try to ride at other locations when i get a chance to as well. i would say that there are about 6 or 7 good trails with in about 30 minutes on here.

I heard about wakefield and lake accotink, I need to get over there. I also live near Fountain Head but I heard that Fountain Head was more advanced.
yes fountain head it more advanced but its not too crazy. if you just took your time you will have no problems out there. its mainly much more advanced in the cardio department.
i'm a fan of accotink and wakefield because its much more fast and flowy. just my preference.

There are evening rides at Wakefield with groups for all skill/fitness levels on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It'll be a little while before things are dried out and cleared but it's a good way to get shown around. Things usually kick off at 6:30 or so and there's a few weeks left before lights will be needed.
