My Boss is an incompetent ass and i wrote my letter of resignation today and am waiting for the perfect time to shove it up his arse errr i mean give it to him.
It is with great regret that I must write this letter of resignation from Treatment Center A. When I moved to TX in February, Treatment Center A was highly recommended by professionals throughout the state as a leader and innovator in the substance abuse field. I was highly committed to helping Treatment Center A continue its mission of prevention, treatment and education of substance abuse and addiction to the residents of Texas. I felt my efforts were greatly needed and appreciated when I was hired in March. I have since been told that my efforts are inexcusable and unacceptable. I pride myself in the ethical treatment of my clients and respect the policies of Treatment Center A but feel the two are not compatible. I feel the hostility and abuse of management to its staff is unacceptable. The level of competence from interns and counselors directly reflects the competence of management. This lack of competence has lead to a staff unsure of their individual knowledge and skills, a high counselor turnover rate and most concerning an unethical and harmful treatment of clients. I have an ethical duty to my clients, so my resignation will not be immediate and I will continue the mission of Treatment Center A to the best of my abilities until May 30th 2008. I still believe in Treatment Center A and its mission to treat substance abuse and would consider another position as a LCDC at a different component.
