I have done some searches on the top but I was wondering how many of you guys run tubeless on your DH bikes? I am looking to convert my Mavic 721 and give it a try. Do you guys think it is worth it?

Do it. I ran Maxxis UST tires with ghetto tubeless on those exact rims. It worked great. Ran the set up for a year straight with no flats or trouble at all. Do it.

they seal fine! I have been running the Maxxis 3c dhf and spot on as far as performance and sealing!

I ran tubeless for a long time. never had a problem, But after three years my strips went bad, and I never got around to replacing them.

Does burping become an issue when cornering hard? If I start the day out with 33psi in my tires and I ride the local bike park all day will I have to add air?

I run this exact set-up with no problems (so far always been able to inflate with hand pump). There are a few tricks to get the 721 to mount up reliably (rim tape). Read the suggestions on the no-tubes site for set-up, and use soem sealant.

Really (they say 18mm...the 721 is 21mm inside width)? The smaller DH ones were the ones that were the 'right' size, they just have not been available for three years or so....
