Ill be heading out from NW arkansas for the race. Ill be racing junior sport. What should I expect at snowmass besides tough competition and a sweet course? What is the course like rocky, rooty open or what? Is it usually wet there or is it mostly dry?

Well, I would definitely expect good competition. Shawn Neer is a ripper in Junior Sport Mtn X and not to far off it in DH.

The DH course is rocky, rooty and open. Lots of ski run stuff up top with very tough and rough corners and tons of techy woods down below. Great all around course!

Don't expect any mud. Most likely it will be dusty beyond belief!
