I traded it for 190 karats of Gem quality Amethyst. I am at will of other Rock Geeks as I don't have access to most of the places these samples are from.

I found this fragment while detecting in a camp site while on the moto in eastern Oregon. It sold for 1200 bucks.

0 finds in the Yucatan Mexico. I am suspect of those numbers. Lake Manicouagan is literally a Lake formed by a massive Meteor strike and many samples have been found there. I have 2 of 4?
Its only a percentage that are verified. Those numbers reflect the verification process for evaluation and grading for selling essentially.
