Hi there - quick Question: I have a Salsa 32t up front on my bike with an SLX and I ordered an Atomlab rear wheel used with a 15t in the back and was originally paired with an Animal Sprocky chainring up front. I know the guy used la BMX chain with this setup before I bought the wheel. So, can I use a standard chain with my Salsa chainring and whatever BMX-style cog he has in the back? I never really had this dilemma before with singlespeeds. Thanks for reading!

I have always used bmx chains when I have run my bikes single speed. They seem to twist less when I put the power down. On my hard tail I have some random half link chain with a ss rear cog and a regular 32 tooth chain ring up front.
