When i push rapidly on the fork simulating small bumps i get this thud/knocking sound when it rebounds. Also when i lift the wheel off the ground i can pull the fork down another inch to inch 1/2. Is that normal or does something need to be adjusted. I'm new with this fork, and i don't really know how it works. any help would be great. btw. its pretty much brand new.

i had a camo slider+ an it did the same thing but mine had an extra 1" when u pull it down i am not sure it it's a good thing or a bad thing

it's defintely NOT good. bring it in to the shop where u got it from. i would not settle for a NEW fork that's performing like this.

that means thats an inch and a half of travel that you are not using=bad

my 04 slider plus is being sent back to manitou for that reason, they said that it needs new bushings/SPV/rebound shaft in my case
