Front flips, although harder to do, just don't seem to look right to me. Still very cool.

its really hard to tell if thats an actual pedal kick or just a tail tap. if you watch closely it looks like his cranks barely move, maybe an inch or two, not really enough for a pedal kick.

I dunno, no pedal kick I've ever done or seen has caused both bike and rider to rotate forward. It'd be nice to see some video - I bet he pushes off pretty hard with his legs, but I don't see a proper pedal kick.
Either way, it's off the siktor scale.
I'm talking rotation here...the rider and bike in the vid you posted travel forward, but still rotate backwards.

eh..its just a technicality, but I still wouldnt call what makes him do the flip a pedal kick.

Dat be Scotty Cranmer "tailtap to fronty" was the term used to describe that sequence when it was posted in the BMX/DJ forum a month.5 ago, not that what you call it really matters much.
