I've got the original xt 4 piston brakes from 01' (m755) on both my bikes (06' DHR and 05' Reign). These have been on an 01' Joker, 01' AS-X, 02' DS-1, 03' Big Hit, and an 04' DHR.Both sets are still going strong, I've just had replace the occasional broken lever blade.

I have the same brakes on my bike, oldest and one of the best working parts I own. I bought it used 6 months ago though so I cant say much about the bikes its been on. But for being so old, it sure as heck owns.

I'm running my 1995 XTR ultra short rear mech that has seen service on a Pace RC200, Santa Cruz Heckler, Santa Cruz Bullit and now on my V10 - I finally changed the pulley wheels this year...still shifts perfectly
