For those of you who might remember - did Shimano ever make XTR M900 brake levers? As in, not connected to shifter pods that would have to be cut off if you wanted to run a SS setup and not have dumb shifters hangin around.

I know I could get some old Kooka Rachas or something but the bike is entirely m900 xtr right now and I sorta want to keep it that way if I can....

Nope. m900 was integrated. Grafton made pods so that you could use m900 shift levers with aftermarket levers though.

Pick up some old G'fatons or my favorite, avid sd levers.

Yeah, the pod mounts were for the first two years of XTR when you couldn't get the shifters without the servo wave levers. The mounts were for the shifters, of course. Thereafter, you could get the levers separate. Pretty much only good for canti.
No, m-900 XTR was completly integrated. No Seperate BL's were ever offered.

Yep, no M900 levers.

Too bad you weren't building this a year ago. I used to have some pimpin' Avid Ultimate canti-levers. They were sweet. I ended up selling them on Ebay for a fraction of what I paid for them. :(
