I thought this was going to be another, "What color Heckler will be best to tow my kids trailer" thread :p

That is awesome, soon he will have a trailer that he can pedal then his own bike!! you must be psyched!

On a side note, one of the guys at work uses one of those to train on the road. He has the trailer and his dog (a Great Pyrenees mix) that is almost 90lbs!! It is pretty funny to see that big dog sticking out of one of those trailers!

That's the one! I know...I was amazed to discover that store was still around. Has ANYONE ever bought anything there besides me? I think I may have been the first.....
i used to work there, and bought my first....ahem...DH bike there....that would be a '99 ATX970.

We butted heads a few times (mostly because he's a scammer), and within a month when things slowed and had to choose one employee, a 15 year old high-school kid, or me, a 22 year old university student, he chose the kid.

-"Mat, i dont think we'll be needing your services anymore..."

-"Good, have my check ready Friday, no later"

-(confused pause) "uhhh, ok then..."

How old is the little one?
What's the minimum age before you can throw a kid into one of those things. My first kid is due next week! :help:
Time to start thinking about these things.

As far as the age goes, it's a little weird. Technically it's supposed to be be a year, because that's the minimum age for a kid to wear a helmet. But the maunfaturere does have what they call an "infant sling". And the catalog shows a pretty tiny baby in it. So I don't know.

But my daighter is a little over 7 months old now and can sit up and pull herself into a standing position (we discovered this weekend). But she is not wearing a helmet.

Thanks - she looks to be sub-1 year, and that's why I asked. My kid will be seven months in the spring (april) and I'd like to have him or her out in one of those next summer.
