That is correct. $75.00 for 1 race and that includes Saturday and Sunday shuttles. There are still some event t-shirts left that you would get. Oh, and the beer bash on Friday is included too.

Open Single Speed DH!
* No Annual USAC license required for this category only.
However, you will need to purchase the 1 day event license for 10 bucks.
* Same course as the main dh event.
* 1 speed only allowed on your bike. Chris Canfield will be at the start checking this.
* Single-Speed DH racers will race after the last pro and before the Open Chainelss.
* If you are a serious USAC racer and wanting the points or to qualify for the Nationals, this category is NOT for you.
* No USAC medals or points awarded for Open Single-Speed. However, prizes from Canfield Brothers will be awarded.
* This option is also good for racers who are obviously category 1 or pro and have not raced USAC events.

With all the interest for this world's 1st Single-Speed DH there will now be a field limit of 50 racers for both of the "for fun races" the Single-Speed and Open Chainless dh.
The main Downhill and Super D events will have no field limit. Here is the itinerary that has been slightly revised.
Friday February 18, 2011:
9:00 am - 4:00 pm: Registration open on site for downhill, SS DH, chainless dh and super d.
9:00 am - 4:30 pm: Open practice on both courses

4:00 pm: Super D registration closes
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Free barbecue/beverages for all (pending)

Will the Cat1 Women run the same course as the Cat1 Men?
That is the plan. However, if all category 1 women want the other course I guess that would be fine.
If anyone is around on Wednesday or Thursday we could use help with some course work.

Watch for the 2013 Nevada State DH Championship this January 19/20, 2013 at Bootleg Canyon. A new thread will be started any day now, we are just waiting for a few more things to finalize. One thing for certain is that this race will not interfere with the Southridge Race. Donny Jackson and I have been in contact and we both want the best competition at the races.
